Steps To Reproduce:

1. Log in to the VDA.
2. Select the Failure Analysis.
3. Select the PI.
4. Right-click on the element and select the Rename BOM Element.
5. Add the decimal and alphabetical characters in the BOM Number.
6. Close the popup and open it again.
7. Observe the result - The added decimal and alphabetical characters are removed.
