Issue 1
Step 1: Open the Design Linkage document (MSS Comp5)
Step 2: Add Parent PI ("MSS Engine") and Child PI ("MSS Engine1")
Step 3: Open PFMEA "MSS Comp5" and Double click on Characteristics with design linkage column
Step 4: Select Characteristics with design linkage and select Parent PI characteristics ("MSS Engine")
Step 5: Observe the Result in Characteristics with design linkage cell
Issue 2
Step 1: Open "MSS Engine" DFMEA and double click on the "3. Failure Cause (FC)" column
Step 2: Add Flow-down to failures in the Cause Column
Step 3: Select another PI ("MSS Comp5") Open the Design Linkage document, and Add a child PI ("MSS Engine1")
Step 4: Open PFMEA and Double click on Characteristics with design linkage column
Step 5: Select Characteristics with design linkage
Step 6: Observe the Result
Description
Issue 1: When I add the parent PI ("MSS Engine") and child PI ("MSS Engine1") in the Design Linkage document and select the parent PI characteristics in PFMEA, the child PI name is displayed in the characteristics cell after I select the parent PI characteristics name.
Issue 2: "MSS Engine1" does not have an "MSS Comp3" child in its BOM on the DFMEA page. MSS Engine1 was then linked to a Design Linkage document, and the PFMEA characteristics with design linkage were opened, now, the "MSS Comp3" child BOM Failure Cause (FC) is displayed in the pop-up window.
