Steps To Reproduce:
1.Login as user who has rights for site A and site B
2.Map the folder tag say tag A to level A in site A and site B
3.Publish the document for site A and site B\
4.In tag search screen search for TagA, it should shows both the documents from site A and site B. Rather its showing the document based on the site selection
