1)Log in to the module as scheduler
2)create layer
3)create equipments
4)right click on the equipment and assign checklist
5)pick the existing checklist as mentioned in the "screen shot 1"
6)Assign the checklist to equipment
7)again right click on the same equipment
8)observe not able to get the assigned checklist to equipments as mentioned in "scree shot 3".

Note: Duplicate checklist is displayed in the checklist selection drop down after clicking on new button
But there is no duplicate checklist available in checklist library.
